A Club for Creatives

The cultural driving force of Soho House is the people. After its inaugural decade in New York, Römer re-established Soho House as a haven for artists by curating the membership to focus on creatives from the media, arts and fashion industries, and then subsequently consulted the Soho House Group on its North American expansion.

Membership Curation

As Head of Membership, Römer focused on curating a club that attracted and cultivated artists and prioritized its creative soul.

Book Club

Started the SHNY Book Club in partnership with Random House, and curated the monthly reading selections for its members.

Special Programming

Produced special events, such as an intimate concert with American recording artist John Forté.

Growth Strategy

Consulted on the successful expansion of Soho House to Los Angeles, Miami, Toronto, and Berlin.
