In Downtown Dubai, Studio Römer curated temporary and permanent activations as part of the arts and culture vision for this young, vibrant neighborhood on the world's stage. The practice shaped the comprehensive creative strategy for Dubai Creek Harbour, one of the largest mixed-use developments.

‘100 Colors’
A 1km-long stretch of public art composed of 300 gates, 10,000 pieces of hand-dyed fabric, and 100 colors framed the heart of Downtown Dubai.
‘1.78’
Janet Echelman’s monumental artwork, constructed from bright polyethylene threads tied in over 600,000 knots over nearly 124 kilometres of string, made its UAE debut in the Dubai Fountain Promenade.
‘Wave Field’
An interactive installation comprising 16 illuminated seesaws, each with a unique soundscape, that encourages visitors and passers-by to partake in an extraordinary sensory experience.

‘Invitation à la Danse’
Sølve Sundsbø’s photograph, paired with the sculpture Orchid by renowned artist Marc Quinn, serves as the centerpiece of the Dubai Mall’s Fashion Avenue.

Portuguese artists Ottotto designed an interactive landscape composed of 1,200 individual LED bulbs.
