Milano Four Seasons
Römer’s concept of a park where spring, summer, autumn and winter coexist at zero-net-energy throughout the year was developed in collaboration with Prof. Carlo Ratti.
Her pavilion was situated in front of the Duomo in Milano during Salone del Mobile 2018.
The “Four Seasons” project leverages a new system for high-precision climate control, by which incoming solar energy is collected through photovoltaics and redistributed among the different seasonal areas, with zero-net-energy consumption.
