Römer is the Founder of Globe Stage, a project to build a 21st-century international mobile theatre traveling across borders of race, religion, resources to entertain and educate, to foster cross-cultural empathy.
Culture without borders
Inspired by William Shakespeare’s own theatre, the Globe will be a full-scale cutting-edge nomadic experience.
State-of-the-art. Sustainable. Self-contained.
The architecture studio of Foster + Partners are designing the iconic building, with artistic guidance from Sir Mark Rylance (Artistic Director, Shakespeare’s Globe, 1995-2005).
Storytelling for empathy
The traveling company will be comprised of an international troupe of players. Representing all ethnicities, the Globe is committed to diversity and strives to advance cross-cultural empathy.
